Velocity Expands Portfolio and Global Capabilities with Addition of Solutions for SAP Software

April 1, 2014 – Velocity Technology Solutions, Inc. (Velocity), a leader in cloud application hosting for enterprise and business software, has enriched its service offerings and global capabilities with the addition of SAP Solutions (NASDAQ: SAP) to the company’s portfolio. The expansion of these services comes as a result of Velocity’s latest strategic acquisition of Titan Technology Partners, Limited (Titan), a Charlotte, North Carolina-based provider of global cloud hosting and managed services, business process outsourcing (BPO) and consulting services.
Integration of SAP Solutions into Velocity’s application services portfolio furthers the company’s leadership in providing global enterprises with the most comprehensive, flexible and secure platform for managing applications in a cloud environment. By working with Velocity, organizations reduce lead time to deployment for new software capabilities, decrease the costs associated with maintaining the underlying technology infrastructure, and gain access to a scalable environment that supports global organizations as they expand into new business lines and geographies.
Consistent with Velocity’s commitment to maintaining deep application expertise, the acquisition of Titan confirms Velocity as a Certified SAP Hosting and SAP Gold Partner, as well as a Certified SAP Application Management Services (SAP AMS) Partner. The company’s skills in SAP Basis, ABAP and functional support are exceptional in the industry.
“In today’s technology market, IT leaders are demanding a range of choices when it comes to hosting their applications in the cloud,” said Tom Bruno, CEO of Velocity. “Customers want the ability to fluidly change from one ERP software suite to another without being forced to switch hosting providers or incur duplicative costs. We are pleased to add support for solutions from a highly-respected organization such as SAP, and are thrilled to expand our business into such a strong and vibrant marketplace.”
The expansion will offer Velocity’s Managed Application Services customers access to:

  • Complete SAP outsourcing from implementation to support and business process outsourcing;
  • Up-to-date and rapid implementation of all ECC Modules, Business Intelligence (BI), Business Planning and Consolidations (BPC), Process Integration (PI), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and Supplier Relationship Management (SRM); and
  • Global support model with access to SAP consultants with footprints in the United States, United Kingdom, Singapore and India.

“Titan Technology Partners was uniquely qualified to build on Velocity’s value proposition of offering productivity, performance, resiliency and operational transparency for our customers in the cloud,” said Robert Orshaw, Senior Vice President, Global Services, Velocity. “Leveraging their expertise and intellectual property in running SAP, this acquisition and service offering expansion deepens the breadth and depth of the company’s capabilities in supporting our customers’ mission critical business processes and systems for the enterprise marketplace.”
