Velocity Technology Solutions Announces Expansion of Velocity Zoom® at COLLABORATE 14

NEW YORK – April 7, 2014 – Today at COLLABORATE 14, Velocity Technology Solutions, Inc., (Velocity), a leader in cloud application hosting for enterprise and business software, announced the expansion of Velocity Zoom® to include hosted customers using Oracle’s JD Edwards software. Velocity Zoom® is a cloud management console that empowers CIOs, IT leaders, and application managers with detailed visibility, insight and control over the performance and use of their ERP, business enablement and analytic software.
As the largest independent hosting provider of JD Edwards solutions, Velocity offers JD Edwards customers the ability to examine transaction performance, monitor trends in application usage, and compare their statistics to the aggregate of Velocity’s customer community in real-time using Velocity Zoom®. Further, it helps IT executives increase business productivity by quickly pinpointing workflow and process bottlenecks, so customers can adjust processes to generate better business outcomes through their Oracle application investments.
“Velocity Zoom® helps CIOs answer the fundamental question of whether or not the enterprise software investment they’ve made is generating value for the business,” said Paul Cioni, Chief Technology Officer at Velocity. “The expansion of Velocity Zoom® is one of many ways we continue to innovate for our customers, providing fluidity, transparency and insights into their application management across ERP platforms.”
Velocity Zoom® incorporates the capabilities of Velocity’s business insight and security platforms into an expanded suite of cloud management tools, offering users analytics on application performance; data on access and changes to the application environment; easy application integration into their Velocity Cloud and IT auditing and business resiliency capabilities.
